this past sunday, sam and i celebrated SEVEN years of marriage

it seems just like yesterday that i was walking down the aisle and looking at the man of my dreams

and now we have 2 happy healthy children and a relationship that i cherish

and if you know me, you know where i like to celebrate

then, you already know where we went ;)

we took these 2 crazy kids along

and for our gifts...

we like to give gifts of whatever that year symbolizes

and the 7th happens to be copper

sam stopped at main street and got us 2 copper crushed pennies

the perfect gift to remember our 7th year AND where we went :)

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary by going out to a nice, quiet, no kid dinner! It was so great to be enjoy one another with no distractions. Can't wait to see what the next 5 years brings our way!!

Fruit and Flowers

On November 6th we celebrated 4 years of such a happy marriage. I can't believe it's been only 4 years, it seems that we have been married so much longer! Sam is always so good about getting meaningful gifts for each year we have been married. This year he had a bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the house! The four year mark is traditionally the "fruit and flowers" year, and he got them both in one gift! The "modern 4 year gift" to give is kitchen appliances...I'm glad he stuck with the traditional meaning!

We celebrated the next night by having a nice romantic dinner at my favorite place.... DISNEYLAND! It was the perfect date!
