Happy Mother's Day to Me!

What a great Mothers Day I had! I hope all you mommies out there had a great day as well!

I got spoiled by celebrating all. weekend. long.

Friday Sammy put on a special show for me along with all the other kinders and their mommies. I had tears in my eyes the whole time. You would have had misty eyes as well. Trust me on that one.

Saturday we had baseball. But Sam cooked me a bomb diggity dinner!

Sunday was the big day! Coffee & fruit. Pancakes, bacon, & eggs.

Every Thursday Baby Addison comes over to play. Sammy and Abby have a BLAST with her! Sammy especially loves getting Addison to say new words, what a great teacher :)

My Babbs!

Since Sammy has started school I have been focusing on working with Abby on her ABCs and 123s. She is such a different learner than Sammy was at this age. She learns through play rather than being sat down and shown flashcards. Here is a video of her singing her ABCs.


NOTE: She can sing her ABCs the correct way, but this video was too cute not to share :)

I did it! I sent Sammy off to Kindergarten without crying! Sammy was SO excited how could I be sad? He woke up this morning and said "It's school day today, I'm so excited!" He got up, ate a nice healthy breakfast, brushed his teeth, picked out his outfit, and loaded in the car. There was no problem dropping him off, he was eager to go. I'm so proud of my little man!

Of course I had to get my little man on film while picking him up. It was so great to see his smiling, happy little face!
