We are home

So we are back from yet another road trip! We packed up the kids and headed to Weaverville, CA! We left on Wednesday morning (at 12:30 am to be exact), and drove all night while the kids slept. We arrived at 11:00 am glad to be at our destination. We met Sam's parents, Sam and Marilee up there while they were visiting old family friends, Dale and Rhonda Miller. We hung out and enjoyed the company of family and friends. Everyone got together on Friday to hang out on a patio boat that Sam and Marilee so kindly rented for everyone! Sammy ended up fishing almost the whole day with Dale on his fishing boat. Abby was a little scared when people would jump off the boat to cool off, but she was a trooper and had lots of fun as well. At one point Sammy was in the water swimming and Papa had started the boat to back up a little, and Abby frantically said "But Sammy!!!" She thought that we were going to leave him in the water! Sam and I decided we were going to try a wake board. He got up a couple of times, but I didn't have such luck! I tried about 3 or 4 times before my body was too tired to take anymore. the next morning when I woke up it felt like I had just worked out for a total of 4 hours! I was so sore. We stayed up there until early Sunday morning. We all hit the road around 5 am and got home at 6 pm. Again the kids were great, I couldn't be more proud of them for traveling in the car so much and not having too many melt downs ;)
