yummy disney

it's thursday! and that means Disney Bog Hop :)
this week is all about food! any disney food!

I am going to categorize my favorite places to grab a bite to eat by "land"
i like quick stops for food, but it is always nice to have a sit down meal and take a breather.

Main Street U.S.A
so many yummy treats here!
like Main Street Cone Shop and the Corn Dog Cart
don't forget to stop in the candy shops to pick up some tasty treats!

Tomorrowland
i have some bad news about this land... i hate, well maybe that's to strong of a word when referring to Disney, but we never eat a meal when we are in this area of the park, unless we want to grab a quick piece of fruit at the fruit stand. sorry Tomorrowland lovers, but in my opinion the rides, not the food make this land awesome.

Fantasyland
we hardly ever eat here either, but looking at the dining experiences I do want to try Troubadour Tavern.  If you are ever craving a bratwurst head on over to this pit stop to fuel your body.

Adventureland
Bengal BBQ. all the way for this land. the veggies (especially bacon wrapped asparagus) melt in your mouth.

 Critter Country
we have only ever eaten at the Hungry Bear Restaurant in this corner of the park. not bad. not great. i do like the location over looking the Rivers of America. If you are looking for a quite place to eat I would recommend here.

Frontierland
Ranco del Zocalo Restaurante has pretty good mexican food. If you are anything like me you l-o-v-e mexican food and crave it almost everyday. I would recommend the 4 cheese enchilada plate for a "never fail to be satisfied craving."

Mickey's Toon Town
this town has some some quick stops if you are running on an empty stomach and are stuck watching your little ones play at Goofy's or go exploring through Donald's.  Pluto's Dog House is on the fav list just becasue of the hot dogs. I don't know what it is about Disney dogs (the ones you eat) but they are simply the best I have ever had. Is it the bun? Or is it the dog? Have one and let me know what you think!

New Orleans Square
my favorite place to eat in the park! from bread bowls at Royal Street Veranda to having a nice sit down meal (and being served) at Cafe Orleans. Or enjoying a nice dark, cool meal at the Blue Bayou, you will not be disappointed with the food in this area of the park. Disneyland's best if you ask me :)

California Adventure Park
i won't go from land to land here considering we have only eaten at a few spots but those spots aren't disappointing!
Award Wieners want another good hot dog? go here :)
Bur-r-r Bank Ice Cream not only is the ice cream good, but it's in a train!
Pacific Wharf Cafe sandwiches, clam chowder, kid friendly food. a one stop shop for the whole family (and it is located next to chinese and mexican cuisine so you don't have to travel far if that menu doesn't sound good to your tummy)
Cove Bar my husband always stops here to unwind for a bit, whatever makes him happy so he keeps taking us!! Cheers to that!
Karl Strauss Truck it is nice that CA serves adult friendly drinks. when it's hot I am one of those people walking around with the bright green cup :) cheers again!

There you have it a run down on some yummy dining places at the parks at the Disneyland Resort. Can't wait to read all of the other blogs on the hop and see what they have to say!

take a look at where to eat at the parks!

I haven't been to Disneyland since I was a teenager, but I still remember the food in New Orleans Square! It's always been my favorite area :)
